Who we are
LodeTec Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17433398, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC271556, with our registered office at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7DE.

What we collect
When you use the enquiry form, we collect your name, your email address, your message, and which service or pricing tier you enquired about.
When you book a call, the booking is handled through Google Calendar, which collects your name, email address and chosen time.
Our spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to check that a real person is submitting the form. It does not use this for advertising or tracking.
We also collect anonymous, aggregated usage data, such as page views, country and device type, through Cloudflare Web Analytics. See Cookies below.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a call, and, if we go on to work together, prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
We do not sell your data, use it for marketing without your consent, or share it with anyone other than the service providers listed below.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: website hosting, spam protection and site analytics
- Resend: delivering enquiry emails
- Google: email and call booking
If we go on to work together, we also use PandaDoc to sign engagement documents, FreeAgent and GoCardless for invoicing and payments, and Anthropic (Claude) to help analyse the information you share for a diagnostic.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn’t lead to an engagement, we delete your details within 24 months. If we work together, we keep records for as long as needed for the engagement and for our legal and accounting obligations, typically 6 years.
Cookies
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It doesn’t use cookies or track you across other sites, and only collects anonymous, aggregated data such as page views, country and device type.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email hello@LodeTec.co.uk and we’ll respond within 1 month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
